The HRS / Hirose DF36 Series is a compact 0.4 mm pitch micro-coaxial wire-to-board connector system. It is designed for vertical mating between a board-side receptacle and a cable-side plug, making it suitable for compact display modules, camera modules, portable electronics, medical devices, industrial equipment, and other applications requiring fine-pitch micro-coaxial cable assemblies.
The standard type has an approximate depth of 4.4 mm, a mated height of 1.5 mm, and multiple grounding spring contacts. Available position counts include 15, 25, 30, 40, 45, and 50 positions.
The space-saving type has an approximate depth of 2.8 mm while maintaining the same 1.5 mm mated height. Available position counts include 15, 20, and 25 positions.
The standard shield case uses a tin-plated structure and is designed to mate with the DF36A standard board-side receptacle.
The space-saving shield case uses a gold-plated structure and is designed to mate with the DF36 space-saving receptacle without the “A” designation.
